They also encourage the next generation to grow food by partnering with non-profit orginisation GIY (grow it yourself), In 2019, 363 schools took part in #GROW2CEO planting 327,500 spinach seeds Cork Association for Autism, Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice, Starlight UK and 3 winning schools all benefited from a Food Garden worth €3,000 as the campaigns annual prize.

The story of Ballymaloe Relish began in the 1930's when Myrtle Allen would make relish from her home-grown tomatoes, Until daughter Yasmin created established 'Ballymaloe Foods'. Although Ballymaloe Foods now sells sauces and relishes to many countries around the world, at its heart it’s still a small family business, still retaining that same recipe Myrtle created almost 100 years ago. Ballymaloe Foods do their utmost to retain its quality by sourcing their ingredients from quality, local producers.
