The story of Ballymaloe Relish began in the 1930's when Myrtle Allen would make relish from her home-grown tomatoes, Until daughter Yasmin created established 'Ballymaloe Foods'. Although Ballymaloe Foods now sells sauces and relishes to many countries around the world, at its heart it’s still a small family business, still retaining that same recipe Myrtle created almost 100 years ago. Ballymaloe Foods do their utmost to retain its quality by sourcing their ingredients from quality, local producers.
